My interests are related to studying archaeological remains from the medieval period in the central Balkans. My main focus lies in archaeological research of mining and trading centers of medieval Serbia, especially on traces of mining and metallurgy. As a member of numerous archaeological excavations, I gained experience in fieldwork and material processing. In addition, I am engaged in the research of human-animal relations in the Middle Ages through iconographic and written sources.
