Research interests: lithic technology, cultural transmission theory, anthropomorphic figurines, quantitative analyses, Neolithic archaeology
The primary focus of my research is related to the variability of material culture of Late Neolithic communities of the Central Balkans. By integrating the cultural transmission theory and a formal methodology, the aim of such research is on understanding of social dynamics during this period. Some of the specific areas of my research are: analysis of lithic technology and anthropomorphic figurines, experimental archaeology, Neolithic archeology, and the application of quantitative methods to archaeological research.
